    The Woman In Me might of been a hit back in the day but there is very little of that being remembered now in The record is near enough twenty years old and holds up surprisingly quite well. It is a huge step up from Shania Twain's self titled début album and matches the quality of the hugely successful Come On Over and Up!/5().

    The Woman in Me, Twain's second album, debuted at No. 65 on the Billboard country chart in February , entering the Billboard three weeks later at The album continued to climb steadily, finally hitting No. 1 on the country chart in July, the same week "Any Man of Mine" became Twain's first chart-topping country single.

    The three-CD box set contains ‘The Woman In Me’ remastered plus 16 previously unreleased tracks, including five live performances recorded in December during Twain’s residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, and an entire “Shania Vocal Mix” containing early takes of 11 songs from nearly a year before the album’s release.

    Shania Twain comes full circle on this album, cowriting 11 out of 12 cuts and proving that she can do more than sing. Once again she crosses over into pop-rock territory with this multiplatinum affair, bringing legions of new fans into the country camp.     referencing The Woman In Me, LP, Album, Ltd, RE, RM, , B I liked this reissue in translucent caramel effect color but I sincerely expected something more in this reissue, just like its 25th Anniversary edition on CD could have been made with a gatefold folder and double vinyl and include an extra track, live or remix.
